Ricardo “Ricky” Querejeta is a co-founder of Sea Grove Realty and the company’s principal broker. With over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, Ricky’s negotiating skills are complimented by his prioritization of the client’s goals. Furthermore, his economic and sales background coupled with his extensive experience working in the Miami real estate market is an integral part in ensuring the company’s ability to provide its clients with hands-on, personally tailored services.
A 2nd generation broker, Ricky was raised on the shores of Key Biscayne and has developed a niche in the luxury waterfront market. While his formal education allows him to understand the complexities of a vacillating market, it is his experience and commitment to his clients that have ultimately earned him a reputation of unwavering professionalism. He has cultivated long-lasting relationships with his clients due to his ability to evaluate the conditions within a particular cultural and economic climate, listen to his clients’ needs and structure deals that are both beneficial and loyal to those needs.
Prior to founding Sea Grove Realty, Ricky was the owner of IQ Realty, where he brokered over $100 million in sales ranging from Key Biscayne penthouses to Estates in Coral Gables to raw land parcels for dream home new construction. At IQ Realty, Ricky was consistently considered one of Miami’s premier brokers and has been designated a Power Broker by the Miami Real Estate Association. In addition, Ricky has developed an expertise in dealing with high profile and foreign clients. Ricky also draws on his experience as a member of Bacardi USA’s sales and marketing department to apply many of the lessons learned in one of the most marketing intensive industries in business.
Like the other principals of the Sea Grove Realty team, Ricky is a native Miamian and has a love for his hometown. An avid fisherman and golfer, Ricky lives in Miami with his wife, a schoolteacher, and two daughters.
